What salt should I use with my SteelTec water filtration system?
I just bought a new home that has a SteelTec water filtration system installed. Their website is http://www.steeltecwater.com/products.htm. I have either the ST 4700-8 or the ST 848 model based on the pictures. I know that these units require salt and the manual on their website says the salt should be filled up about half way in the brine tank. However, I don't know which salt I should be getting. Do I need block salt or pellet salt? Any help is appreciated.
I think you can use the same salt which is used in dishing-washing machines.
